Pertubuhan Perkhidmatan Sosial dan Pembangunan Komuniti Daerah Gombak, Selangor 

YAYASAN UNIKL (YU) would like to congratulate Perkhidmatan Sosial Pembangunan Komuniti (PSPK) as our CAN partner, for the launch of PSPK Eco HUB and the new mega project called Beyond Bins Project (Solution Project Partner of APPGM-SDG in collaboration with Biji-Biji Initiative and RCE Greater Gombak, IIUM). Aimed at the idea to tackle our burgeoning plastic waste problem through innovative and self-sustaining solutions for the community by introducing small scale plastic recycling. The project was launched on 11^th November 2021 in conjunction with National Recycling Day involving the Malaysian and Refugees community in an effort of creating a platform for us to work and learn to live together. PSPK is working with the B40 communities to create an alternative income and means to improve their livelihoods, assisting us, breathing new life into plastic waste by creating new products from it.

To engage more people from the community, PSPK launched “PSPK Eco Hub” to instil a sustainable mindset in the community especially those living here in Selayang Baru. This centre would mainly focus on environmental awareness, instilling a sustainable mindset with a new paradigm by giving waste a newfound value. PSPK always give importance to participation and partnership in the effort of localizing the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
